TTL Calc

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

In short: TTL Calc does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. Whatever you enter in the app stays on your device.

Who we are

TTL Calc is developed and published by István Kovács as an individual (the “developer”), who is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Contact: apps@kovaist.dev

What the app stores

The app stores one thing: the history of your conversions, so you can load them back later. Each entry contains:

  • the values you entered and the result (hours, minutes, TTL in seconds),
  • the direction of the conversion,
  • the date and time of the conversion.

Only the last 50 entries are kept. They are stored solely in the app’s private storage on your device and are never sent to the developer or anyone else. The entries contain nothing that could identify you.

How to delete it

On the History tab you can delete entries one by one, or all at once with “Clear all”. Deleting the app also deletes its history.

If your device is backed up to iCloud or a computer, the history may be included in that backup together with the app’s other settings. These backups are managed by Apple and by you; the developer has no access to them.

What the app does not do

  • It does not connect to the network; it works fully offline.
  • It does not require an account or sign-in.
  • It uses no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting services, and contains no third-party components that collect data.
  • It does not access your location, camera, photos, contacts or any other personal content.
  • It writes to the clipboard only when you tap the copy button, and never reads the clipboard.

Data handled by Apple

Downloads, purchases and updates are handled by the App Store. Apple processes the data required for this under its own privacy policy.

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide the developer with aggregated crash and usage statistics that do not identify you. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Children

The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase personal data held about you. As the developer never receives any personal data about you, there is no data held about you. You stay in full control of the history stored on your device.

If you have any questions, write to the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Hungary this is the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (naih.hu).

Changes

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, this policy will be updated and the date at the top of this page will change.
